Privacy policy
This policy explains how CodeSense handles information when you use our website, business workspace and optional connected services.
Who is responsible
CodeSense is based in London, United Kingdom. For privacy questions and requests, use the Contact or Data deletion page.
Information we receive
We receive account and contact information you provide, business and workspace content you submit, support messages, and technical information needed to operate and secure the service. When you connect a third-party account, we may receive the account identifiers, permissions and content needed for the feature you choose.
Meta platform data
If you authorise a Facebook or Instagram connection, we use the data made available by the specific permissions you grant to provide the requested social publishing, account management or reporting feature. The exact data depends on the approved permissions and feature in use. We do not ask for your Meta password.
How we use information
We use information to provide your workspace and requested features, authenticate users, communicate about the service, respond to support requests, prevent abuse and meet legal obligations. We do not use connected Meta data for unrelated advertising or sell it.
Who receives information
Service providers that host or operate CodeSense may process information for us under our instructions. Connected services, including Meta, process data under their own terms when you use their features. Other workspace members may see content according to the permissions set for that workspace.
Storage, security and retention
We restrict access to account and workspace data and use technical measures to protect it. We keep information while needed to provide the service, resolve disputes or meet legal duties. Retention can vary by record type. When data is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it.
Your choices and rights
You can request access, correction or deletion of personal information and withdraw an optional Meta connection. Some records may need to be retained where law requires it or where another lawful reason applies. Use the Data deletion page to make a request.
International processing and changes
CodeSense may use providers in other countries. Where applicable, we use appropriate safeguards for transfers. We may update this policy as the service changes; the current version is published here.
